Overview

Delta is Coach Dave Academy's app: it detects the car and track you're about to drive and auto-loads a matching setup from Coach Dave's library, and its Setup IQ feature can take an existing setup and tune it toward your own driving style rather than handing you a single fixed baseline. It grew out of Coach Dave's original ACC setup business and has since expanded far beyond it, supporting sims across PC and console from iRacing and Le Mans Ultimate to AC Rally and Gran Turismo 7.

Delta is subscription-only (no free tier), billed monthly or annually. Coach Dave Academy also sells 1:1 coaching sessions and standalone setup packs alongside the app, so it spans setups and training.

About Coach Dave Academy Delta

Delta watches which car and track you load and automatically pulls a matching setup from Coach Dave's library, which is deepest on its original titles ACC, iRacing and Le Mans Ultimate. Setup IQ then goes a step further and isn't limited to Coach Dave's own setups: drive a session on any loaded setup, an in-game default, a teammate's file, or one bought elsewhere, and Setup IQ analyzes that specific driving stint to tune it toward the driver's own style. The process runs on Coach Dave's own servers and can be repeated lap after lap.

Beyond setups, Delta covers the data side of a driver's toolkit: turn-by-turn AI coaching feedback built on full telemetry, side-by-side lap comparison against a driver's own past laps, friends or pros, a fuel calculator, and world leaderboards with challenges to climb them. It grew out of Coach Dave's original ACC setup shop and has since expanded into a broader data and coaching product.

There is no free tier: Delta is subscription-only, billed monthly or annually with no long-term commitment required. The subscription also bundles Coach Dave's sim racing fundamentals course and a discount on 1:1 coaching, on top of the core setup and coaching tools, so it spans setups and training rather than doing just one job.
