About Garage 61
Garage 61 is built around one comparison: how your lap stacks up against everyone else who's driven the same car in the same iRacing session or series. It records your telemetry, then lines it up against a pool of other drivers' laps so you can see exactly where you're losing time, sector by sector, rather than just watching your own delta improve or worsen over time.
That comparison shows up as an in-sim overlay while you drive, as ghost laps you can race against in practice, and as leaderboards and a web-based analysis view for digging into a session afterward. The core recording and comparison tools are free; a paid Pro tier adds deeper analysis on top. Because the analysis side runs in a browser rather than a separate installed program, it's less tied to a single Windows machine than a typical telemetry tool.
It only covers iRacing, so it's a fit specifically for iRacing racers chasing pace against a wide driver pool rather than a general multi-sim tool. In a SimLauncher setup it's the kind of companion app worth having running the moment iRacing launches, so telemetry capture starts from the very first lap instead of a session you forgot to record.
